Stunning views from the balcony, yet breakfast delivery lacks a communal feel.

The experience was exceptional, from the incredibly comfortable mattress to the astonishing views of the countryside and the serene stream. Breakfast featuring delicious sautéed pepper and onion omelettes stands out alongside the immaculate room and spacious bathroom with a unique modern shower. Safe parking added a layer of convenience, making it an ideal stay. Everything was perfect except there were no wild animals spotted during our stay, and road noise was occasionally audible in the evening.

Peaceful and relaxing stay!
The room was comfy with a stunning river view. Nicola, the host, was super friendly and made breakfast a treat! I loved sitting in the outdoor dining area. Only bummer was the lack of cell service, made it hard to stay connected. Will def come back!

We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved the spacious Waterside Room with its comfy ambiance and amazing views from the large balcony. The peaceful garden was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation amid beautiful blooms. The only minor hiccup was the Wi-Fi being a bit spotty, but it didn’t ruin our perfect getaway. 😊

Couples Seeking Memorable Getaway
We stayed for 2 nights and it was like stepping into a postcard. The breakfast? Oh, you have to try the sautéed pepper and onion omelette. every bite was pure perfection!
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but worth every penny.

Stunning views and exceptional hospitality
We recently enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay in the King Room with Balcony, where the breathtaking countryside views absolutely sold us. Nikki and Fraser were phenomenal hosts, offering us personalized recommendations and even surprising us with a delicious strawberry cake for our anniversary. The breakfast was consistently great, especially the homemade omelette, paired with the relaxing sounds of the nearby stream. Although the property was generally fantastic, the only downside was occasional faint road noise during the day.

I spent an incredible 3 nights in the waterside room where I felt right at home with the warm welcome and cozy ambiance. I loved that I could stroll to Borough Gardens in just 10 minutes for some peaceful park time and also explore the fascinating Terracotta Warriors Museum only a short drive away.

great stay with minor quibbles
The decor created a welcoming ambiance, and the views from our balcony were truly breathtaking. Nikki's breakfast was delightful and perfectly suited to our preferences.
Despite the overall charm, the bathroom towels could have been a bit fluffier.
